Quizlet App Smackdown
Quizlet is an online studying app that most people have used at some point in their life. Personally, I have been using Quizlet since middle school and continue to rely on it to this day. One of the great things about this app is that it is customizable making it useful to people of all ages, skill levels, and majors. Quizlet’s benefits are not limited to just students but to anyone who needs to memorize information or who is looking to learn. This app is also convenient for studying on the go. By downloading the app onto your phone or logging into your account from any computer, you can have access to your studying materials at any time and anyplace.
Quizlet is most known for its digit flashcard sets, however not all users are familiar with the other features and studying aids this app has to offer. These include several different practice modes such as testing, learning and flashcards, to help users understand and memorize different concepts. There are also several different games to switch up the learning process and keep you engaged. Quizlet provides tools to help increase efficiency in your study set creation process. Using the “import”, or “create from notes”, tools can generate organized study materials directly from your notes, powerpoints and documents, saving you time and allowing you to start studying quicker. You can even add your school and courses to connect with classmates and share study sets. This will also help to filter in more relevant study materials or pre-made flashcards from students who have already taken the same course.
Although this app can be useful for everyone, I can particularly connect its advantages to my own career path. For occupational therapy programs and any other health science majors becoming proficient in a wide range of medical diagnoses, treatments and on anatomy is a requirement. Having a solid understanding and the ability to quickly recall necessary information can improve the quality of service you provide to your patients. Using Quizlet is an effective way to refresh your knowledge, review terminology and strengthen your skills all of which support you in your progress and contribute to you being successful in your career.
I agree, Quizlet is such a useful app! The ability to import study materials and use different modes really helps with staying engaged. It’s a great tool, especially for fields like occupational therapy where memorizing a lot of information is essential

ReplyDeleteI used quizlet before and it really helped me stay organized whenever I needed to study for a test or keep track of my knowledge for exams. I can definitely see this helping students!
ReplyDeleteQuizlet is something I use to study and to help some of my friends study if we're taking an exam for the same class. I hadn't explored all the features that Quizlet had to offer, and I appreciate you making them known. Especially how they'll make a study set for you, I would always either make my own or find a similar set that I could use.

ReplyDeleteQuizlet is an amazing tool to use to study for an exam. I grew up on quizlet using it for basically every exam i needed. The only thing that is annoying with the app is that you have to pay monthly to use some tools more than once, when back then you didn't have too.
ReplyDeleteI love using Quizlet for studying, especially the flashcards for things like vocabulary. The learn mode helps refresh your mind of the concepts as well as the other study games, which really assists in becoming familiarized.
ReplyDeleteI love Quizlet as I'm pretty sure a great decent amount of us have used the app for multiple exams and quizzes. I vividly remember using it to pass the written part of the drivers exam in high school.

ReplyDeleteI have not used Quizlet before but I am considering it now. I did not know it has tools to help you study such as flashcards. You mentioned how convenient it is to use especially when you are on the go. That is extremely beneficial especially those who work and have families to take care of.
ReplyDeleteI use Quizlet a lot for studying, it really helps a lot. One of the features I like about Quizlet is that you can star flashcards that you don't know all that well and need to study, it really helps me to focus on the terms or other phrases that I did not memorize very well. It's a great app to use and I have used it for years.
